Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the State of Israel

On January 13, 2025, the Korea-Israel Industrial R&D Foundation Board of Directors convened via video conference to review the collaborative projects planned for 2025 by Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy (MOTIE) and the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA).

Through this platform, the two nations are fostering academic and industrial cooperation by supporting joint research and development (R&D) in cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), quantum cryptography, semiconductors, autonomous driving, and biotechnology. Currently, 16 joint R&D projects are underway, and approximately 7 new projects are set to be added this year.
